Get to know the Staff at Holy Trinity...
The staff at Holy Trinity seek to serve all who are need, both members of our parish as well as anyone who reaches out to us for help. The world, after all, is our parish.
Our priests are trained to be good listeners, to keep absolute confidentiality, and to serve as spiritual directors. So, if you need counsel or spiritual direction, please click either the photo of one of the priests or click the box above and someone will respond quickly.
Our other staff members are wonderful people who will help you find your place in our parish, whether that's in places to volunteer or helping you connect with people of like minds and interests. Please, feel free to click on the photo of any of our staff and she or he will respond by the next day.
The Rev'd Dr Joseph Boysel is Holy Trinity's third Rector (senior pastor) and has been with the parish since 2009. Father Joe has a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. Father Joe and his wife, Abby, have four sons and live in Hudson.
The Rev'd Lawrence McElrath is Holy Trinity's first Curate (assistant priest). Father Lawrence joined the staff at Holy Trinity in 2017 following his graduation from Nashota House Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. He and his wife, Megan, live nearby in Akron.
Shane Kardos is Holy Trinity's minister of music and has been since 2008. He and his wife, Ann, have 3 children and live in nearby Kent, Ohio.
Brian Tritabaugh is the second Verger at Holy Trinity. Historically a Verger has been a lay position wherein the person serves as a master of ceremonies. In ancient times the Verger would lead public processions and clear the way through the city streets for the choir and clergy. Today the verger serves as an unordained sub-deacon, assisting the clergy in the service in various ways.
Before coming to serve at Holy Trinity in 2013, Martha worked as an executive administrative assistant at Kent State University. She brings both excellent professional skill and a delightful personality.

Jim Richter is also commissioned as a verger for Holy Trinity, typically serving in Brian's absence. Jim's ministry goes beyond assisting in the mass, however; he also leads in facilities management, singing in the choir, and quietly working behind the scenes doing a myriad of other tasks.
The Rt Rev'd Ronald Jackson
Bishop Ron is the second bishop for the Anglican Diocese of the Great Lakes, which encompasses Michigan and Ohio, as well as parts of Kentucky and Indiana. Bishop Jackson and his wife, Patty, live in nearby Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
