Altar servers include Lectors, Acolytes, Prayer leaders, Chalice bearers, Crucifers, Gospel book bearers, Floral arrangers, and members of the Altar Guild.

Acolytes, Chalice bearers, Gospel Book bearers, and Crucifers are trained and scheduled by our Verger, and assist the clergy on a rotating basis. These ministries are excellent for children. To participate, see the Verger or sign-up on the back board. Prayer leaders are responsible for the Prayers of the People during worship. .

Lectors (readers) are scheduled and lead by the chairman of the Guild. To read more about Lectors, go to the ministry page HERE.

The Altar Guild prepares the chancel for services, setting the altar, and preparing for the Lord's Supper. The Guild also manages the church's vestments, linens, and table ware. Altar Guild members receive detailed training and are assigned on a rotating basis.

Floral arrangers see to the altar flowers for services. A sign-up sheet is always up on the back board.
